It's over

The Angels came for husband at 3:48 this afternoon.  It was a beautiful experience.

So long, love of my life.

I'll see you on the other side when God calls me home.

Thank you all for your love, prayers and support.

It has meant a lot.

I am going to California in August for a little staycation.  I will sit on the beach in my hometown and remember.

I will update soon.

  2. God bless you and your journey through all the early onset of alzheimers brought to you.God truly will bless you for standing beside him and giving him such great care. I know your husband is happier in the heavenly realm. Just think when he closed his eyes here, the next time they opened he was looking at Jesus!!! Fully restored. I hope you will continue to blog as I will miss your little stories.....again God bless you and the family during this time and continue to do so in the days ahead. ~~~~ Glinda Majors @ gigimajors@windstream.net

We will be with our loved ones again one day, your husband and my son.

  5. Dear Sue, it's hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact your dear husband has actually graduated to heaven. Your journey has been so long. He was an incredible fighter. And you have been too...so faithful to walk this difficult road by his side. I pray God's special peace & comfort you as you grieve his departure. May God fill your heart with great hope for your future. It's an answer to prayer that yesterday was a beautiful experience...I prayed that for you when I read your last post before he passed. I hope your staycation in CA is everything you need for that time. Sincerely, Michelle

  7. I have been a bit absent as far as blogging lately. I came to your blog to see how you were. I have missed the last few of your posts. I could hardly believe the title of your post. I hope that you feel peace in your heart right now. It was a long journey. I don't know how you handled all of it. It will be hard having him not there with you. I hope that you take some time and just rest. I am sorry. Hugs
